Our goal is to create a free mental health support network within the snowboard community and beyond by providing safe places to strengthen feelings of belonging, deepen connections, and normalize talking about our struggles and asking for help.

Health care is expensive and hard to navigate.  Finding the right therapist is emotionally taxing in itself.  We aim to provide free and easily accessible resources to help alleviate some of the stress associated with searching for care.

We brush our teeth so we don’t get cavities.  Unfourtunately, once we have a deep cavity brushing our teeth WILL not cure it.  We need to see a dentist, its often painful and feels worse before it gets better.  After we have healed from our cavity we continue to brush our teeth to maintain our dental health.  We’re All Mental is like brushing your emotional and mental teeth.  We are not a substitute for professional care but we can help guide individuals towards healthy habits that function as preventative care.  If we create a safety net of friends who support each other it becomes less likely that someone will fall through the cracks and start to spiral unnoticed.

Our methods of providing care include but are not limited to:

  • Handing out yearly mental health / recovery focused zines

  • Holding weekly international support groups online

  • Hosting a series of in person events across the US and Canada

  • Helping individuals sign up for health insurance

  • Teaching friends HOW to ask for help

  • Offering Free online classes (yoga, physical therapy, sensory integration, physical training, healing your relaxation ship with your body and food.)

  • Celebrating life event with free dinner in December

  • Sending out weekly email with brief informational reading and journaling prompts

  • Providing a clear path and steps for better self care

What is a Mental Meetup?

A safe place for people to communicate and share their experiences.

  • The group is anonymous.

  • You are welcome to leave your video off and your name blank.

  • If you are not ready to share and want to listen, that is a great place to start!

  • Mental Meetup offers realistic expectations for recovery- IF you put the work in.

  • There is a different inspiring reading each week.

  • We are building a community of people who care about each other's well-being.
